Joseph Barbera ...with all my respect and gratitude
It's late news now but I've only found out recently

BBC News | BBC Obituary | CNN News | The New York Times

Mr. Joseph Barbera is one of the creators whose works are a major part of my childhood.
While I don't find myself sitting through re-runs of "Tom & Jerry", "The Flintstones" or "Scooby Doo" anymore, it's an undeniable fact that they were once there with me.

Sometimes, it doesn't take much of a contact to make an impact, be it big or small, significant or not.
It's like.. there will always be things that, logically, aren't of any memoriable value to you, yet still imprinted in your memory.

I'm not saying the cartoons I'd watched as a child aren't memoriable.
It's just that, I don't see them as that much of an influence to me. But then again, one doesn't need a sense of "influence" to feel a "bond".

Thank you for once being around
R.I.P, Joseph Barbera
